Atkinson Dam Cabin Village and Shoreline Camping

Enjoy a relaxing stay at Atkinson Dam Cabin Village and Shoreline Camping accommodating everything from swags through to the largest motor homes. We have roofed van sites, van sites, on site cabins and non-powered campsites on the shoreline. While in our village you can enjoy a refreshing swim in our pool. You can also see birds, koalas, bearded dragons and other Australian wildlife, view wonderful sunsets and watch the stars away from the city lights.

General Store

The site is equipped with a general store providing a sub-newsagency, takeaway food, groceries and daily milk and bread supplies. The store also provides fuel & oils, gas and ice.

Facilities

Facilities include ladies and gents amenities blocks including a baby bath in the ladies, modern laundry with washing machines, dryer and ironing facilities.
An in-ground salt water swimming pool and barbecues are also provided.

The Dam

The dam is popular for water skiing, paraflying, sailing, windsurfing and fishing. A boat ramp is available for launching your boat.  Picnic tables, barbeques, toilet blocks and a playground are available for campers and day use.

Local Attractions

Local attractions to visit include the Bellevue Homestead at Coominya. Also at Coominya are a number of murals depicting the history of the area, and a section of the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail for walking or riding.
